Introduction to Multiplying and Dividing Mixed Numbers and Complex Fractions
Rufus volunteers at an animal shelter. Every morning, he feeds each dog 2/3 cup of food. If each bag of dog food contains 25 1/3 cups of food, how many dogs can he feed with each bag? This may sound like a simple division problem, but Rufus will need to figure out how to deal with a mixed number (25 1/3) before he can find the answer. In this section, you'll learn how to multiply and divide with mixed numbers and complex fractions.Learning Outcomes
