Effective December 22, 2025
Here is a summary of certain material changes to our Service Terms:
- We have renamed our Terms of Use to "Service Terms" to better distinguish them from the Learneo Terms of Use, which remain incorporated as part of the overall Terms governing your use of the Services.
- We've expanded key definitions such as "User", "Our Content," and "Third-Party Services") and reorganized sections for easier reading and consistency across Learneo services.
- We have updated the governing law and jurisdiction provisions to specify that disputes will now be governed by the laws of the State of California, U.S.A., with San Mateo County as the exclusive venue, instead of Tel Aviv, Israel.
- We have updated the dispute resolution and arbitration provisions to explain which disputes are subject to arbitration, how to opt out, and when arbitration may not apply.
- We have added additional terms pertaining to your use of pre-release or beta features and tools.
- We have introduced a new "Disputes and Chargebacks" clause, outlining how payment disputes and chargebacks are handled. If you dispute your charge with your bank or payment provider, we may suspend or terminate your access while the issue is resolved. Users whose accounts are terminated due to chargebacks may not create new accounts. We encourage users to contact us directly to resolve billing disputes.
- We have included provisions addressing the use of artificial intelligence ("AI") in our products and services, including how AI features operate.
- We have clarified the categories of users covered by our Terms, including distinctions between free users, paid users, and trial users.
- We have added more detail on subscriptions, renewals, and cancellations, including notice of price changes, automatic renewals, and payment authorization.
- We've updated our refund policy and have added more information about online payment processors.
- We have refined several provisions relating to legal rights and responsibilities, including liability limitations, disclaimers, indemnity obligations, account and security responsibilities, our rights to access and use content, and procedures for reporting or disputing claims of infringement.
- We have clarified ownership of our content and outlined how to delete your account or cancel your subscription.
- We have added links to help you navigate our Services, including links to our policies.
- For our users in the European Economic Area (EEA) or Switzerland, we have introduced language to comply with local laws and regulations and to afford such users the rights they are entitled to under EEA consumer laws.
- We have also made updates throughout the Service Terms to improve clarity and readability, including rephrasing and rearranging certain provisions.
If you do not agree with these changes or no longer wish to use our Services, please stop using the Services. Registered Users have until December 22, 2025 to review and accept these updates. If you do not accept them by that date, you may not be able to continue using the Services.
